Gateway to Learning

Gateway to Learning provides each child with a well-rounded, full-time preschool experience. We offer smaller classes year-round with excellent teacher/student ratios. Our staff is trained to help children learn through hands-on experiences, an educational curriculum, weekly chapel, a Bible curriculum, and engaging extracurricular activities such as Spanish, Science and Computer Lab. GTL also has an indoor and outdoor playground to promote unstructured playtime regardless of the weather.

Gateway to Learning is a fully licensed facility with the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services. Our goal is to create a safe and stimulating environment that enriches your child both spiritually and educationally, igniting a spark in each child that commits them to a lifetime love of learning.

Mother’s Day Out

Mother’s Day Out is the part-time program at Gateway that offers classes from August through May. MDO classrooms have low student/teacher ratios, which enable each child to receive individual attention. Our staff is experienced and trained to help children learn through hands-on activities, educational curriculum, Bible curriculum, weekly chapel, as well as engaging extra curriculum classes that include Computer Lab, a dedicated Spanish and Science teacher. Dance and Soccer Shots are also offered each week. MDO also has both an indoor and an outdoor playground to promote unstructured play regardless of the weather.

Our goal is to provide a safe, stimulating environment for your preschooler to grow spiritually and educationally, creative a lifelong love of learning.



Curriculum Focus

Gateway to Learning utilizes a variety of resources and materials to meet the needs of each student.  Students are taught through centers, play, and hands-on learning.

Academic Curriculum

Students develop cognitive learning through hands on activities, creative centers, games and play. Our program promotes fine and gross motor skills, language, science and creativity while at play. Children through play can solve problems, create, experiment, think and learn. Gateway presents learning in a fun and creative way to promote a love of learning in each child. Our curriculum is age appropriate, research based and uses thematic units to introduce your child to both the community and the world.


Bible Time

Students will learn about Jesus and grow in the faith through age appropriate Bible stories and music in Chapel every Wednesday.


Play

Students will be provided with ample opportunity to develop socially and physically, through indoor and outdoor free play in our spacious indoor playroom and newly updated outdoor playground.
